Save Darfur Coalition and Fidelity Out Of Sudan campaign partnering to pressure Fidelity to divest from Sudan


National advertising and advocacy initiatives by the national Save Darfur Coalition will help build the pressure on Fidelity. Those initiatives include TV and print advertisements, plus a media push in the Boston area including an advertising blitz in the Park Street T Station. Save Darfur Coalition's divestment campaign builds on the foundation work for targeted divestment from Sudan, led by the Sudan Divestment Task Force.

With the launch of the Save Darfur Coalition ad campaign, we hope that the thousands of people who have already objected to Fidelity will become tens and hundreds of thousands. If enough of Fidelity’s customers and potential customers object, then Fidelity will see the business necessity of taking action in the face of genocide, even if they do not accept the moral imperative.
